The Lantern Pants are amazing! Comfortable, cool and chic! I developed these pants after taking a trip to Europe where I saw a lot of women wearing this type of pant. I couldn't wait to make my own version of these relaxed fit viscose linen pants! Reminiscent of a traditional East Indian style, the Lantern Pants are flattering on so many different shapes and sizes. They are also flexible. Some women like to wear them more fitted, others prefer a looser fit. If you like them fitted, stay with your regular size and they will be mid to high rise pants. If you prefer a relaxed fit in the hip and legs, go one size up - they will fit you slightly below your natural waist if you up size. These pants are a pull on style with an elastic waist band for ultimate comfort! The Lantern Pants have intricate seams in the hip area where a side and center front seam allow for a nice size pocket. Those additional center front and center back seams are strategically placed to accentuate the silhouette in the most flattering of ways. Near the lower thigh, the pants have darts and panels that create the very special lantern effect. It makes for a sculpted look that is quite intriguing! The finished cuffs of the pants measure 22". Wear them with sandals in the summer time or with short booties later in the Fall. The Lantern Pants are available in two lengths - cropped and regular length - of course the cropped or regular length depends on your height. Some women wear the cropped style to the beach and call them the modern day Clam Digger Pantsthey are very popular on Martha's Vineyard! These black Lantern Pants are available in 2 fabric options. Both fabric choices are very soft and drapey, Viscose/Linen in black or sueded Tencel in black. And both fabric choices are very easy to care for: machine wash in cold water with the pants turned inside out, hang to dry! You can even put them in the dryer on air fluff for a couple of minutes! They hang beautifully and are made of an incredible, medium to heavy weight material! Young girls love them as well as women of any age. You'll want to wear them every day!
